904L round bars and rods are made with a high amount of molybdenum and nickel in their combination. It is non-magnetic. UNS N08904 bars and rods are non-magnetic which have a minor amount of copper. Copper improves the strength of an alloy, and it also provides excellent resistance and flexibility. Copper is a good source of electricity; hence these bars and rods have good machinability. These bars are highly resistive to acids like sulfur and chloride. It has extreme formability, weldability, and toughness. It does not require post-welding or pre-heating methods as the alloy is strong enough to tolerate the heat intensity. 

904L bars and rods can be heat treated upto the temperature 1994°C-2147°C. These rods and bars are highly non-magnetic hence it is highly used in applications where magnetic activities are not required. The tensile strength of 71000 Psi and the yield strength of 904L bars and rods 32000 Psi.
