904L Buttweld Fitting is low carbon stainless steel grade with a moderate amount of austenitic base. SS904 elbow has a low carbon content with a mixture of copper and molybdenum; along with that, it also has chromium-nickel content. The mixture of all these alloys provides it with the resistance power to protect itself from the attacks of sulfur, phosphorus, and acidic acids. Chemical processing machinery, acid production units, sulphuric acid tanks, and pollution control devices are made up of 904L. 904L buttweld fittings are durable and robust, and they are commonly helpful for compact spaces. 

904L buttweld fittings are available in different sizes, shapes, and thicknesses. 904L buttweld fittings have non-oxidizing elements which prevent metal from rusting and other reactions. This buttweld fitting mixture also has titanium which helps to protect the alloy from intergranular corrosion. The tensile strength of this material is 490 Mpa, and the yield strength is 220 Mpa. 904L is the low carbon version with excellent resistive properties.  The working temperature of these fittings varies from 426°C to 812°C. It also provides good resistance from oxidation at 843°C.
